    Pick and Buy Limited, the owner of Winners supermarkets (“Pick & Buy”), respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data.

    Pick & Buy (“we” or “our” in this privacy notice), as the data controller of each visitor to this website, is responsible for the collection and processing of your personal data, in compliance with the Mauritian Data Protection Act 2017 (the “Act”). This notice aims to inform you about how Pick & Buy collects and processes your personal data when you use this site, including the data you provide on this site when creating an account for any online purchase.

    This site is not intended for minors, and we do not knowingly collect data related to minors.

    WHO ARE WE?

    Pick & Buy Ltd is a private company incorporated in Mauritius. Our head office is located at Winners House, Tribeca Mall, Trianon, Mauritius.


    2. THE DATA WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU

    • Contact Data, such as billing address, delivery address, email address, and phone numbers.
    • Financial Data, such as bank account and payment card details.
    • Transaction Data, such as details about payments made and other details regarding products and services you have purchased from us.
    • Technical Data, such as IP address, login data, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, and other technologies on the devices you use to access this website.
    • Profile Data, such as your username and password, purchases or orders made by you, preferences, feedback, and survey responses.
    • Usage Data, such as information about how you use our website, products, and services.
    • Marketing and Communications Data, including your preferences for receiving marketing from us and your communication preferences.

    Please note that some data collected is mandatory (indicated with a *) to access our services, while others are voluntary.


    3. IF YOU FAIL TO PROVIDE PERSONAL DATA

    Where we need to collect personal data under the law or as part of a contract we have with you, and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may be unable to process your order and related services. In this case, we reserve the right to cancel your order, and we will inform you accordingly.

    From time to time, we may use your name and contact details to send you marketing communications in the following cases:

    • If you have purchased products or services from us,
    • If you have provided your contact details when registering on our website, and

    In each case, if you have not opted out of receiving marketing communications.

    You can choose to stop receiving marketing communications, SMS, or newsletters at any time and free of charge by unsubscribing, following the instructions in each marketing communication, contacting us at customerservice@winners.mu, or by mail to Pick & Buy, or via your Winners account or the Contact Us section on the site at any time.

    When you opt-out of receiving marketing communications, this choice is specific and does not apply to personal data provided as part of a product/service purchase, warranty registration, product/service experience, or other transactions.


    8. DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

    We do not sell or trade your personal data to third parties.

    Your personal data may be shared as follows:

    • With our agents, advisors, accountants, auditors, lawyers, other professional advisors, contractors, or third-party service providers to help manage, support, or develop our business and comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
